Photograph of Scots pine trees stems laid out for inspection and acceptance for a telephone/Hydro pole contract most likely with James Jones and Sons. The location of the site is not known but some thoughts are that is the ‘Buckie Lochan’ in Culbin Forest.
The man in the foreground is unidentified but the man behind is John Walmsley, forester at Laich of Moray.
