Newton Nursery cold storage of plants and seed1981

Struan Stewart, Chief Forester, Laigh of Moray which also included Newton Nursery examining the thermometer in the private cold store at Dalcross (Salvasens?) where the Newton Nursery trees and seed were stored.
It was critical to keep the temperature around plus one degree Centigrade/Celsius to achieve the best results for longer term storage.
