Walter Paterson finishing his 2 year training session (1955-57) at Faskally Forester Training School. According to the news paper cutting he was one of the prize winners along with D I Lewis, E W Cavell and Tavish W Macmillan. Walter was brought up in the Tough area next to the River Don and may have done his pre forestry school training at Pitfichie Forest. Can any one confirm?
