Newton Nursery land area plan 1931

Copy of the plan drawn in 1931 of the Newton Nursery acquisition. Since this time there have been several land and boundary changes as areas were sold and bought. The tree clone banks and seed orchards occupy some of the northern fields of the original acquisition. It is interesting to note there are no cottages shown at this time just north of the steading square along the Burghead Road.
The cottages must have been built sometime between this year and the 1936 photographs.
