‘Hastener’ letter from RB Farquhar of Rhynie to Charlie Smith indicating the urgency of supply of some products to the Coal Board.

Interesting to see the headed paper being used as Union Road Sawmills, Macduff.

Union Road Sawmills, Macduff is a new one for me too but Bob always the entrepreneur must have seen some advantage in using that name.

I first met Bob when I was still at School and he was calling at the local garages buying used Tyres to be made into Link Mats, a type of Floor Mat.

I’m not entirely sure but but Bob (Rob) as I knew him may have owned the sawmills...he also had a holiday let just across the road in Macduff.. Comment left on 08 June 2018 at 11:04 by Ann Sinclair
