Jack and Mary at the Visitor Centre opening
Jack Fraser with land agent, Mary McLennan, at the opening of the visitor centre, 1991. Jack became FC clerk of works in 1975 in Inverness. He covered the whole of the North of Scotland, Fort William to Lairg, Skye to Glenmore, looking after the maintenance and building works on FC properties. Jack had to deal with a lot of requests for work to be done in Commission houses and some pretty bossy wives. He took it in his stride.
