Rothiemurchus Smithy

The smiddy on Rothiemurchus, c.1905. Then many houses were made of local wood. Timber working was still an important part of life in and around the forests of Rothiemurchus in the early 20th century. Local man, Willie Collie was a wood contractor until after the war.
