Photograph of Bush Nursery nr Edinburgh showing conifer seed beds which were normally broadcast sown at this period. The notice does say Corsican pine with some numbers ending in 49 which could be date of seed sowing or identity number of seed collection. Can anyone confirm if this was the labelling practice at this time?
