Thinning article by WJ Riddoch which may have been sent for publishing possibly in the Royal Scottish Forestry Journal.
Date is uncertain but Willie Riddoch demonstrates a tongue in cheek sense of humour as he argues the case for another approach to planting, thinning and roading of forests so that timber merchants such as he, can receive timber of a size, quality and price that he believes the market needs.
