Can anyone say what the yellow machine is and who were the operators at that time?

Yes, as stated above the yellow forwarder was one of three built by the farm machinery maker Twose of Tiverton. They were all prototypes of different configurations and none made it into production.
The first was a forward control (cab right up at the front) 6x6 which was shown at the APF show of 1986(?) near Nottingham and was written off hitting a bridge while being transported by lorry. The second is the more conventional 6x6 machine shown here, and the third was a 8x8 which apparently spent some time set up as a scarifier with the FC and was disposed of at one of the machine auctions at Errol airfield in the 90s.
