Culbin Forest - buried tree stem

Another view of a tree in Culbin Forest which had experienced a great deal of blown sand in its early days causing constriction in diameter growth on the lower part of the trunk. Most likely a tree which had been planted before thatching was wide spread in Culbin Forest.
