D2 at Barracks section of Rannoch Forest 1959

The D2 involved in laying out fencing material, Rannoch Forest, Barracks section in 1959. Fence material was taken out by train from Rannoch Station and left in strategic dumps along rail line side. From the there the material was laid out along the fence line using tractor and ‘slipe’. Neil McLennan is in the shirt sleeves with George Reid behind on the seat and a young Malaysian student accompanying them for a few days.
