Tree Marking and Measuring Team Huntly area

The team are standing in a Scots pine crop and appear to have stood still for the photograph. This area may well have been thinned a short time previously to the image being taken and in reality just a photo record event. No trees actually appear to have been marked with a blaze.
The man in the middle with the booking record has the look and bearing of Gordon Thom – ganger of the marking team – but the face is not really like him. Any names would be very welcome. The man has been identified as Bob Aitken by John Allison, Huntly. see comments below
