This is the last edition of Tree Scribe to be published by Tilhill Forestry.
UPM, through its Shotton Paper plc subsidiary, purchased Tilhill Forestry (then known as Tilhill Economic Forestry ) in 1996 from Booker Countryside. UPM subsequently sold Tilhill Forestry to BSW Timber Ltd. in a deal that was finalized on September 1, 2015. Currently Tilhill Forestry is part of the BSW Group which was acquired by binderholz in 2022.
During the period from 1995 to 2015 Tree Scribe was replaced by several different publications, including Staff News, Countryside Chatter, the Output Newsletter and the Staff Bulletin, the latter being the first of the ‘online’ publications.
Today, most if not all publications and staff news is available through the Tilhill Forestry website.
