TREE SCRIBE - JOURNAL OF TILHILL FORESTRY - Tree Scribe – No 29 June 1991
The images and summary text were provided by Tom McLellan, forester from Taynuilt, Argyll , the images having been scanned by Sheena McNally, PA to the Directors of Tilhill.
Edition 29 of Tree Scribe reflects the significant changes that took place in the private sector of the forest industry in Scotland following the Nigel Lawson’s budget of 1988, the fallout giving rise to the Restructuring for Growth reported in Edition No 28 and subsequently it led indirectly to the formation of Tilhill Economic Forestry (TEF) – the merger of Tilhill Forestry and the Economic Forestry Group (EFG).
