Peeps View and shelter overlooking Fochabers - 1974

The images are from photographic slides courtesy of Abbie Gordon, Banchory. In the early 1970s the Forestry Commission embarked on an extensive visitor access programme establishing many forest walks, car parks, camp sites and other trails. This small gazebo appears very new and fresh looking and may well have been constructed following the establishment of car parking and trails in Whiteash and other forest areas near Fochabers.

Any details would be very welcome?

The view point is a well renowned spot overlooking the village of Fochabers and Gordon Castle.
