General area of Glenbranter Forestry Camp – High Elevation view
Images are courtesy of Colin Lawson son of Wilfred Lawson, a forester who trained at Benmore Forester Training School 1948-1950.
This high elevation view of the valley or glen heading down to Lock Eck. In the foreground are roads that served the forest and Glenshellish Farm, the building of which can just be seen in among the trees to the right of the road.
The Camp was located in a flat field area to the far left of the image but hidden by the tree foliage.
Any details and other information would be very welcome.
