Fine rain frozen on Birch – Affric
The photograph was taken by the late Finlay MacRae who was a District Officer in the Forestry Commission based in Dingwall at this time. The images are courtesy of his daughter Donna.
Finlay describes this as fine rain frozen on birch and is similar in some ways to the effect of a hoar frost visual effect.
