Road to Blackstand - Black Isle
The photograph was taken by the late Finlay MacRae who was a District Officer in the Forestry Commission based in Dingwall at the time. The images are courtesy of his daughter Donna.
An unknown machine and driver is using a James Jones Highlander skidder loader to push aside the snow on the road to Blackstand. It is assumed that this is a council road but that Forestry Commission land, houses and nursery is further up the road and access was required.
