Isachsen winch working at Lael Forest
The photograph was taken by the late Finlay MacRae who was a District Officer in the Forestry Commission based in Dingwall at the time. The images are courtesy of his daughter Donna.
No information on location in forest or names but the Isachsen winch is set up in highlead mode in an extracting thinning rack through quite mature larch.
Any information on names of potential operators would be very welcome.
