Booklet ‘A Glance in the Rear View Mirror’ by Kenneth C MacKenzie (Information wanted)
This booklet, recently passed to Forestry Memories by Frank Thom, Huntly, is a description by Kenny MacKenzie of his life driving lorries from 1949 while employed by the Forestry Commission in and around the Black Isle, Inverness area and further afield. The booklet was self published in 2001 with revisions and additions in 2003 and 2004 and contains a wealth of detail on forestry workers, machines and forests at that time.
Permission is required to copy this booklet – Does anyone have contact details for Alex MacKenzie living possibly somewhere in the wider Lairg area (son of the late Kenny MacKenzie).
