Slasher Magazine Summary: Publication No. 213 - September 1965
The digitisation of the Slasher was undertaken by, and images courtesy of, the Forest Research Knowledge and Information Management staff based at both the Northern Research Station in Roslin, Scotland and Alice Holt in Surrey, where the original copies are currently located.

Retirements
Mr George B. Ryle C.B.E., Deputy Director General has retired. He has given an interesting summary of the notable events in his 41 years' service with the Commission after reporting for work in 1924 at the Bedford Divisional Office.
Mr Joe Hird, Forester, Stang, Yorkshire, has retired after 34 years service with the Commission.
Mr Reg Cheeseman, Telephonist & o/c Registry, Woking Office has retired aged 74.

A Correction
In the last issue of Slasher, the promotional status of Mr J.R. Hampson on his transfer was incorrect.
Obituaries
Mr H.M. Jenkins, former Forester, Dovey Forest, who retired in 1961 has died.
