Glentress Forestry Training School students in town pageant

The photographs, located only lately in a small album, have very little detail other than location. The ‘Broons’ display and character dressing up by the students for Peebles pageant (Beltane?) in June 1949.
This close up view shows the full cast and may enable someone to recognise some of the members. Alex Grossert is in the middle of the group behind the ‘twins’ one of whom may be Gordon MacBain (on the right).
Any names would be very welcome.
