Forestry Commission sawmill yard at Smithton, Inverness

The Smithton yard is being used to store pulp for Norbord Factory during the winter as a supply reservoir to counter winter snow blocking access to many forests. Local Timber haulier Larry Gill’s lorry is unloading in the yard.
