Photo information docket for Forestry Commission Photographic Archive
This small docket was part of a collection passed to Forestry Memories from a storage shed in Newton Nursery used by Forest Research.
Printed in 1966 for the Forestry Commission this docket was used as an attachment to photographs sent to the Photographic Archive.
In practice relatively few were sent in by field staff but perhaps Forest Research foresters were required to record some images of their work. Most photographic images were actually taken by FC staff professional photographers and filed in special archives. Sadly these appear to have been depleted, lost or filed away in forgotten storage areas.
