Part of Drummond Hill Forest – Dull Wood Forest Research area
This map image was part of a collection passed to Forestry Memories from a storage shed in Newton Nursery used by Forest Research.
This Forestry Commission area located in the Appin of Dull valley was used by the Forest Research staff for experimental work from 1935 to 1938.
On the land south of the forest boundary unusual to see rifle range in close proximity to manse, school and chapel.
