The image is courtesy of Gavin Scorgie, Ardross, but the date the photograph was taken is uncertain.

Donald Milton is on the left. Frank Thom that Donald worked as a keeper for Major Drake of Inshriach Estate before he joined the Forestry Commission in the early 1960s. Donald’s father also worked for Inshriach Estate as a keeper but it is uncertain if this is him standing below the fence in the photograph.

Can anyone say when this photograph was taken and where Donald was employed at the time?

The photo is taken at the gates to inshriach house, the white terrier is called Twiggy & black and tan terrier was called Mandy. I'm not sure but I think the man at the fence was Donald's dad Geordie. Donald is the man in front of the gates. Comment left on 21 January 2025 at 14:16 by Gavin Scorgie
