Snow Damage in Lodgepole pine – Location unknown
This photograph was part of a collection passed to Forestry Memories from a storage shed in Newton Nursery used by Forest Research.
Another image is in the PDF (link below) showing similar snow damage but in Scots pine. The photograph numbers are shown as C1671 and C1672. A small added name in pencil at the back is “G Pringle” taken to be George Pringle who worked in Forest Research for many years and retired as Chief Forester in 1982.
