Iconic gravel flood plains of the River Feshie
The image is courtesy of Gavin Scorgie, Ardross and is a view over the River Feshie with its very mobile gravel banks formed and reformed with every flood as the fast moving waters transport material from higher levels down river.
The PDF has another view of the River Feshie plus a very grainy image of it in full flood highlighting the tremendous forces involved on the steeper, wild flowing sections.
Parts of Inshriach Forest in the back ground - any information very welcome.
