Belly Kirkland (nee Saunders) who has retired near Ulverston, came across a photograph of Alice Holt staff taken at a social evening in the conference room in 1950 or 1951. Obituaries
John Keenleyside has new of two deaths in North Scotland. Evarard Martin, who came to Britain as a young POW in WW11, worked on land nearby and eventually joined the FC, died in a road accident on the A9.
The death occurred in May of Winnie Watson from Rothes. She started with the FC at Teindland in Moray and finished up with Research Division at Newton Nursery, Elgin.
Eifion Jones from Denbigh heard of the death of Reg Walters last February. Reg graduated from the Dean FTS in 1932 and took up a post in Dyfi Forest.
Bill Raven, Land Agent at Chester is remembered by many of his friends, who have put together their reminiscences.
