Sandy Rose notebook with hand written copy of Hanson’s Silviculture
The images are courtesy of Michael Lawrence, Bankfoot, who is the grandson of Sandy Rose.
The Stationary Office notebook has a 1931 date and the notes may well have been written in the early 1930s. This could have been Sandy’s guide to his establishment of Ledmore Nursery along with many years experience working at Newton Nursery.
