The images are courtesy of Michael Lawrence, Bankfoot, who is the grandson of Sandy Rose.
Michael says -
‘This photograph is most likely taken outside his home at Forest Lodge, Forestry Place, Bankfoot. This is also likely to be the same van I’m sitting in and so probably taken on the same day in 1955’.
Sandy was in charge of Ledmore Nursery.
