Tam comments:
“The man that owned this one man sawmill was a Ted Carey who lived and worked his Sawmill in the small Perthshire village of Wolfhill for years. He was originally from Canada. I used to visit him for a blether and that’s when I took these photos so at a guess it was back in the 1980s”.

It would appear that this tractor was diesel model with diesel pump visible. Perhaps someone will confirm and provide model number?

The mirror attachment to the exhaust is an ingenious modification.

Any comments very welcome

The tractor is a TEF 20 which is the diesel version that was made by the Standard Motor Co in Coventry for Harry Ferguson from 1951 to 1956.
The rear wheel is probably from an earlier tractor as the centre disc has no cut outs to make it easier to change wheel track settings. The tyre is on the wrong way for best pulling performance !
