A moment in the opening process when the key has been turned to open the main door. The identities of some of the people have been recorded and believed to be as follows from the left:

1. James Shearer - Lead Architect for the project
2. Mrs Carnegie Miller – daughter of Andrew Carnegie
3. Baroness Elliot of Harwood – life trustee of Carnegie UK Trust
4. Poss A O Cunningham – Chairman of the Carnegie UK Trust
5. Not named - Young boy
6. David Marshall - retired Chairman of the Carnegie UK Trust
7. Poss Major D C Bowser – Chairman of the National Committee of Forestry Commission Scotland
