The image is from a photograph collection that was originally stored at Kincardine Forest District.
A wider view of the cultivated grassland site showing what appears to be well formed mounds suitable for easy planting. The mounding of course was the attempt to move away from the continuous ribbon of the plough and its associated instability and root architecture issues in the subsequent tree crop.
Can anyone name the site?
