Geordie Davidson visiting Tom McLellan
The photograph is of Geordie Davidson taken by Tom McLellan at Taynuilt. They first met when Geordie was ploughing in Griffin Forest near Aberfeldy around 1983. Geordie was working for Andrew Allan as a forestry ploughing operator at that time.
Comment from Tom:
“I got a surprise visit from Geordie Davidson this week who was down visiting old friends in Argyll with his wife Sheena.
Geordie is 79 but is still very active, even being co-owner of a 2.5 tonne excavator!
As you can see from the photograph, he hasn't lost his skill on the button box and a host of other musical instruments. The box in the picture is over 100 years old and was bought for him at an auction by Sheena.”
