List of Foresters of Great Britain and Ireland - Webster's Foresters Diary 1957
The diary is courtesy of the family of George Dey and the addresses courtesy of Webster’s Diaries.
The extensive list, as published in 1957, of names and addresses of foresters and people in forestry work is a valuable resource for family and forestry historians. Apparently the Diary publishers invited people with forestry connections to submit their names and addresses for inclusion and the list was added to and amended annually. Note that the list only contains those names that were submitted by owners or users of the diaries and is far from being a complete list of forestry related people in GB and Ireland.
At the end of the list are the names of and senior personnel in a variety of Forestry Societies, Associations and Organisations in GB and Ireland.
