Griffin Forest and people - 40 years of growing
Tom McLellan, forester, Taynuilt, recently visited Griffin Forest which he managed on its inception in the 1980s and was given a tour around by Jamie Adcock, Tilhill Forester on the left who currently manages the forest. Also assisting on the tour of the harvesting operations was Simon Coleman, Euroforest Director (on right).
Shown in the attached PDF below is a Google image of the sheep fank at Burnside inside Griffin Forest. Tom recollects that it was one of the best examples of a fank and associated headwall in that locality.
