International Ploughing Tractor at Rannoch Forest
The image is from a collection of slides and photographs ‘rescued from the skip’ and handed to Forestry Memories. Generally very little information with or about them and for details we will have to rely on readers’ memories or geographical knowledge.
Details very uncertain but may be a tractor with a mounted tine (unseen in this image). The PDF shows a wider view of the forest ploughing area where the heather has been burnt prior to ploughing. The harder stony knolls have been ploughed with a single furrow tine – perhaps a mounted one.
Any details and information very welcome.
