Quarry working with Priestman excavator
The image is from a collection of slides and photographs ‘rescued from the skip’ and handed to Forestry Memories. Generally very little information with or about them and for details we will have to rely on readers’ memories or geographical knowledge.
The only clue to this image is the registration number of the XES 255L of the yellow Ford Escort car. Behind the car are a Beford Tipper and the Priestman.
The collection of what appears to be tools in a bucket sitting just behind the car is interesting. Any suggestions of what tools or equipment?
Any information on the car owner, Bedford and Priestman models would be very welcome.
