Timberjack Skidder – 360 possibly
The image is from a collection of slides and photographs ‘rescued from the skip’ and handed to Forestry Memories. Generally very little information with or about them and for details we will have to rely on readers’ memories or geographical knowledge.
This robust looking machine may be a 360 model but really hard to make out the numbers. This is obviously a single winch drum model. There is what looks like a FC number on the rear left side – may be 67017 or 67047?
Does anyone know of this machine, who operated it and where it worked?

There was one in Glenurquhart Forest near Inverness, the first Timberjack in North Scotland Conservancy. The double drum winch on the 225 supplied later to Culloden was a better match for UK timber sizes and allowed for greater productivity.
