Wm Ogilvie Timber haulage based at Muir of Ord
The image is from a collection of slides and photographs ‘rescued from the skip’ and handed to Forestry Memories. Generally very little information with or about them and for details we will have to rely on readers’ memories or geographical knowledge.
This image and those in the PDF below are of William Ogilvie drivers loading up timber lorries in an unknown forest. The main lorry featured appears to be an eight wheel Atkinson with Hiab crane fitted to the rear. The Registration number is OJS22K.
Can anyone name the driver and the location?
Any stories of from any former members of the Wm Olgivie team would be welcome.

Hi Norman, the guy who is operating the crane is in fact myself and the other driver is Arthur Ashcroft, who is sadly no longer with us. The forest is Midmar.

Hi Brian - Good to see you helping fill in some more information and names. Do you recall who took the photographs?

Thanks indeed Brian. I had suspected that at least some of the slides in this mystery collection could have been taken by George Dey and your comfirmation is very welcome.
