Rolba tracked carrier in a spot of bother!
The images are courtesy of Peter Weir, Glencoe, who worked as Forestry Commission ploughing tractor driver for many years but here was working as one of the fencing team erecting a fence line in the steep, high mountain country in Glencoe Forest.
Neil Black (Peter’s fencing partner) is doing his best to push out the machine which has nose dived into a hole or soft patch in the peat. The machine was used to spread out fencing material on the hill. Can anyone recall the name or type of this machine made by Rolba, a Swedish company? It is very like the Bombardier made Bombi and may have been shipped and assembled by Rolba. Any information would be very welcome. The FC number looks like FC77345 or FC77545.
