Dod Irvine with the business end of large single furrow mounted tine plough
The image is from a collection of slides and photographs ‘rescued from the skip’ and handed to Forestry Memories. Generally very little information with or about them and for details we will have to rely on readers’ memories or geographical knowledge.
Any information on Don Irvine’s career would be very welcome. Was he based in the Durris area of Deeside?
The plough worked to a maximum tine depth of 90cms and ploughing depth of 60cms and titled as a S60/t90 plough head.
