Sam Harrison at Benmore College
Sam Harrison and colleagues in Younger Botanical Gardens, Benmore, Dunoon. The Sequoia Avenue was planted in 1863. Avenue now grassed over with no vehicle access to Benmore House. He is with Forestry students from class of 1962-64.
Sam was a student at Benmore Forestry School, Cowal from 1962 - 1964. and ended his career as head forester at Castlewhellan, Co. Down. He has fond memories of this time and would like to communicate with any colleagues who remember him; names include, but are not limited to, Michael Day, Peter Humphries and Justin Smart. Does anyone know these folk?
