Royal Highland Show in Dumfries attended by the Queen Mother

The Scotsman photograph is courtesy of Malcolm Macdonald, London area, and in addition to an animated Queen Mother shows his father James Macdonald in attendance on the left.

James (J A B Macdonald) would have been Conservator South Scotland having been in the role since 1951.

Can anyone name the gentleman on the right?

The gentleman on the right is Dr Kelly Brooke. He was a GP based in Newton Stewart and our family doctor. He also had agricultural interests hence his appearance at this show. Distinctive always in tweed suit and plus fours carrying a sturdy leather bag.
He was in attendance with the district nurse, Nurse Woods when I was born at home at Drumlaw, in Glentrool Village.
