Forestry Commission Diamond Jubilee planting in Dumfries
Newspaper cutting is courtesy of Malcolm Macdonald, London area, showing his father James (J A B Macdonald), former Conservator South Scotland, doing the honours of planting a tree in the grounds of the Dumfries Conservancy office.
Looking on behind James are from the left Mr E J M Davies, South Scotland Conservator, Mr R Chard Assistant Conservator and Mrs Emily Macdonald just behind the tree.
