Rannoch Forest – Red Deer carcass recovery Circa 1966
The photographs are courtesy of Iain Robertson passed via Duncan Menzies and feature the aftermath of deer culling operation within the Barracks forestry plantation area on a winter day.
Apparently the deer had been shot the previous late afternoon and the forestry team had to carry the carcasses on their backs to the roadside the following morning.
This image features Paul McCallum with his carcass.
