Loch Trool Walk Leaflet circa 1964
The leaflet was kindly loaned by Joan Park, Perth, whose father was a forester for some time in Glentrool Forest. Joan recalls her father working on the production of the guide and producing some of the typed text and drawings. The leaflet is certainly locally produced with skilful and neat drawing, design and lettering. The text is clear, concise and gives a descriptive commentary without over elaboration.
The leaflet on loan appears to be one of the original templates and it is uncertain how it was produced for the general public. It may have been sent to a local publisher or print shop or perhaps the detail transferred to a waxed sheet of a Gestetner multiple copier machine.
