Forest Fire Warning sign – Seafield Estate

This sign has certainly been cast and manufactured only for Seafield Estate. The casting of signs and other metal objects was once a thriving industry in GB now sadly very limited.
The original sign as rescued by Will may have been all white with red lettering as its original colours. See the PDF for the sign as refurbished with black background and white lettering.
Can anyone give some estimates as to when this sign would have been first erected, for how long it was used and where it was manufactured?
